OTTAWA-His Excellency the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada, will attend the dedication ceremony of the Senate Diamond Jubilee window in honour of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. The event will take place on Tuesday, February 7, 2012, at 10 a.m., in the Senate Foyer, Centre Block, Parliament Buildings.

Inauguration of Disraeli Beach Park's new facilities - Canada-Quebec investment of nearly $600,000
Laurent Lessard, Quebec Minister of Municipal Affairs, Regions and Land Occupancy, Minister responsible for the Chaudière-Appalaches Region and Member of the National Assembly for Frontenac, took the opportunity of the inauguration of new facilities at Disraeli's Beach Park to note that the City of Disraeli received $592,424 in joint government funding under the Communities Component of the Building Canada Fund ¿ Quebec for the execution of this project.
