Australia Post - Technology revolution celebrated by Australia Post
Tuesday, 07 February 2012. Australia Post is celebrating the technological revolution of the 21st century with the release of five domestic rate (60c) stamps featuring the mobile phone, modern refrigerator, flat-screen television, digital media player and the Global Positioning System (GPS). Television transmission in Australia is now 24 hours a day.

Solar Flagships Program to Re-open Shortlist
The Moree Solar Farm consortium was given until 15 December 2011 to meet financial close as a condition of the $306.5 million grant on offer from the Australian Government as part of the Solar Flagships Program. Further assistance for flood affected communities in NSW | Prime Minister of Australia
Prime Minister Julia Gillard today announced that clean-up and recovery grants of up to $15,000 will be provided to communities in New South Wales inundated by recent floods. The grants will be jointly funded by the Australian and NSW governments under the Natural Disaster Relief and Recovery Arrangements (NDRRA). The Australian Government continues to work closely with the NSW Government to deliver assistance to flood affected communities.

The Opposition's dodgy figures for a processing centre on Nauru continue to unravel today, after it was revealed their 'secret' costings were actually provided by a catering company.
